Doug always seems to surprise me with how quick and amazing everything seems to work out. The work that Doug does is completely indescribable in the best way possible. I have only had my appointments over the phone, but I feel like I know Doug. He is so personal and it is so easy to be comfortable with him. Sometimes he will bring up something that had nothing to do with why I made the appointment in the first place and it blows my mind! It is just an untapped field that is absolutely life-changing. I recently visited Doug Akerman for some fine tuning. Years ago, I picked up one of his information flyers on Meridian 180/ Energy Kinesiology. I had a strong feeling to hang on to this. As the saying goes, "When the student is ready, the teacher appears." 14 years ago, I began a personal journey of healing myself from emotional trauma and disfunction. After 14 years, including two different alternative emotional therapies ( in addition to my self acquired knowledge), I finally felt free of my emotional handicap. However, I still had the feeling that I wasn't quite done yet. It was then that I had the strong feeling to contact Doug for a session, which I did. Doug is the "Real Deal". He found no less than four blockages which he released during our session. After my session, I left his office to return home and I began to notice a subtle flow of energy coming into my body. Over the next 48 hrs, that sensation intensified. It was like a clogged pipe finally being unplugged and the water flows fully free. I highly recommend Doug Akerman and Meridian 180.

I feel so blessed to have found Doug last year. He has done more to help me become healthy and functional than any other health provider in recent years. On my first time with him he made a remarkable change in my foot placement and gait when walking. It felt like a miracle when I slid off the table and my feet hit the floor. Hard to describe but a lasting memory forever. We have addressed many of my issues and every time I have experienced miraculous changes at the end of the session. There are times I have had many issues and I am unsure what to pinpoint. He explores all my problem areas then I wait for him to tell me what part of my body was speaking to him and low and behold it has been been the main issue.
